About

About Nivana

Nivana exists so nobody has to choose between AI models. Every request goes to the model that measures best for it, and every answer says which one that was.

Who builds it

Nivana is built by AW3 Technology and founded by Will Schulz, who builds the router, its weekly evals and the Nivana apps for the web, Mac and iPhone.

Why a router

No single model is best at everything, and the best one for a task changes every few weeks as labs ship new models and cut prices. Picking a model by hand means re-testing all the time or overpaying. Nivana does that testing continuously and makes the choice per request, so the answer comes from the strongest model the request justifies.

How the routing is measured

  • Quality. Weekly pairwise evals per kind of task, judged by models from several labs, give each model a score from 0 to 100.
  • Price. Live list prices from Vercel AI Gateway, for a typical request of each kind.
  • Speed. Measured from live traffic.
  • Openly published. The results are the Router Index, free to reuse under CC BY 4.0 as CSV or JSON.

How it handles your data

Every model call asks the provider for zero data retention and no training on prompts. The content of API requests is not stored. See data and privacy and the privacy policy.
